Alice Beesley tagged me in the 7-7-7 Challenge. Finding 7 writers who hadn't yet been tagged has been a challenge! If you've already been tagged and I tagged you back...maybe 14-14-14? :)

Rules:

Flip to page 77 or page 7 of your current WIP. Find line 7. Post the 7 sentences that follow. Tag 7 more writers.

So here's my 7 sentences, from Underworld.

The Artison in the portrayal was even thinner than the white-eyed Administrator. Whether male or female was impossible to tell, since the shape was wrapped around itself with its own feet over its shoulders and standing on its hands. The hair was stark white, the eyes blazing green in the dark face and watching anyone who approached along the boardwalk with a wicked grin.

The whole thing was actually a very accurate portrayal of the way the people in this area felt about the blod--the blod woman in the painting was seated on a high throne, Clanmembers bent double where the throne’s legs should have been, another under her feet. Her face shone as if she was a God, although even the local version of the legend made it very clear that she was not.

Noyyewan turned away, shaking his head, a gesture that had become familiar in the last years. “You humans are strange.”
