Actually I just had to choose small press for this one, because a few months ago I got a chance to do a review of Waiting Fate, by W.B. Kinnette.
One interesting thing about this book is that it's autobiographical. The author had to publish under a pseudonym. The book is engaging, the characters well developed. It's one of those books that makes me alternately laugh and cry, and trust me I don't cry often or easily. At the same time it wasn't so intense that I had to leave it alone or put it down and come back later. It was a two-read, meaning I read it straight through twice.
It was also sigh-worthy--at the end, I put it down with a satisfied sigh, and I would definitely read it again.
