Thanks, Alice. Since I can't seem to comment on my own blog, I think I'll do it this way.
My brain did the same thing last year when I won NaNo and got a free proof copy from CreateSpace. It said "Hey, if you do this you'll be published!" with the emphasis on the unspoken "And you can stop!" So in rebellion I sent something to a publisher. :)
